Fiona has over 10 years’ experience in the travel and charity sector as founder of Younique Travel Adventures and co-founder of a charity Younite Foundation. Fiona has organised for large groups of volunteers and travellers to visit communities in Kenya, India and Vietnam and has been a part of raising funds to help build schools, fund teacher training, and provide educational support for hundreds of children overseas.
In recent years Fiona has worked for a not-for-profit youth development organisation, The Platform Project, and is their Deputy CEO. Fiona has a passion for travel, youth development and connecting communities and people to help make a difference.
Supporting Thriving Through Venture on our Gambia based projects it’s something that Fiona is excited and passionate about and since visiting The Gambia herself in February with TTV she can’t wait to return.
